 Day 1

 Depart USA

Day 2

 Arrive in Israel
• Afternoon arrival at Ben Gurion International Airport
• Transfer to Jerusalem to check in to your hotel
• Welcome dinner at a fine Jerusalem restaurant
• Overnight: Hotel, Jerusalem 

Day 3

 The New City of Jerusalem
• Begin the morning with a briefing of today's political situation in Israel and current events with a journalist, political activist, or the like
• Drive to Hadassah Ein Karem Hospital to see the world-famous stained-glass Chagall Windows
• Visit the Yad VaShem Holocaust Memorial Museum
• Revisit the life of Theodor Herzl, the Father of Modern Zionism, at the Herzl Vision Museum
• Overnight: Hotel, Jerusalem 

Day 4

 The Old City of Jerusalem
• This morning you will visit the Jewish Quarter, re-constructed since 1967
• Tour the Roman Cardo, and the Herodian Mansion, home of the High Priest of the Holy Temple
• Continue to the western wall and tour the western wall tunnels
• Afternoon visit to the outdoor market of Machane Yehuda to experience frenetic pre-Shabbat Jerusalem
• In the early evening return to the western wall to welcome in the sabath
• Return to your hotel for a traditional Shabbat dinner
• Dinner & Overnight: Hotel, Jerusalem

Day 5

 Shabbat in Jerusalem
• Late morning walking tour of Yemin Moshe, one of the first neighborhoods established outside of the walls of the Old City of Jerusalem (1869)
• Visit the Tower of David Museum to see over 3,000 years of Jerusalem history
• Afternoon: at lousier at your hotel
• In the evenong return to the tower of David to see the sound and light show – "The Night Spectacular"
• Dinner and shopping on your own at the Mamila avenue
• Overnight: Hotel, Jerusalem

Day 6:

 The Judean Desert
• Drive in the Judean desert for a short nature hike to the Ein Gedi waterfall
• Continue to Masada and ascend by cable car to visit the last Jewish stronghold and Herods fortress
• Drive to the Dead see for swim and lunch at one of the local hotel spas
• Return to Jerusalem
• Overnight: Hotel, Jerusalem

Day 7

Heading North
• Head north to the ruins of Beit She'an, the ancient Roman Capital they called Scythopolis
• Next is Beit Alpha to see the famous Zodiac Mosaic
• Visit Moshav Nahalal, Israel's first Moshav (established 1921) to meet with the grandchildren of the Moshav founders, for a visit, tour of the Moshav and home hospitality, including lunch
• Take an exiting Jeep ride of the Golan Heights
• Check into your hotel for dinner and overnight
• Overnight: Kibbutz Kfar Blum hotel

Day 8

 The Golan Heights
• Morning tour of the kibbutz to learn about a lifestyle which is very unique to Israel
• Take a short Nature hike at the Tel Dan Nature Reserve
• You will return to the Golan to visit Mount Bental to see the Syrian border and understand the strategic importance of the Golan Heights
• Wine tasting in one of the Golan boutique wineries
• Visit Katzrin – the "Capital of the Golan"
• Enjoy a multi-media show about the history and beauty of the Golan Heights at the Magic of the Golan
• Dinner at a fine local restaurant with good food and wine
• Overnight: Kibbutz Kfar Blum hotel

Day 9

 The Galilee
• Begin the day in Safed (Tzfat), the birthplace of Jewish Mysticism (Kabbala) you will see one of the old synagogues and have free time to stroll around the artist colony
• Continue across the Galilee to Acre – the ancient Crusader port city
• Next is Haifa. View the gorgeous Bahai Gardens
• Overnight: Dan Carmel Hotel, Haifa

Day 10

The Sharon Plain to Tel Aviv
• Visit Atlit, the Museum of British Detention Camp
• Next is the Druze village of Osefiya to meet with members of the Druze community. You will be treated to Home Hospitality and lunch in the Druze homes
• Continue south to ancient Caesarea to see its Roman amphitheatre, hippodrome, the remains of Herod's palace, the ancient harbor, the crusader city, and much more
• Arrive in Tel Aviv and check in to your hotel
• Overnight: Carlton Hotel, Tel Aviv

Day 11

 Tel Aviv
• Visit the Palmach Museum for a multi-media presentation following the lives of young soldiers in pre-State Palmach, which was the predecessor to the IDF or the Itzchak Rabin Center
• Interactive tour of Tel Aviv, see the UNESCO World Heritage White City, with a focus on the unique Bauhaus architecture of the 1920's and 1930's
• Stroll along the Nachalat Binyamin Street Fair – held every Tuesday and Friday. Enjoy the sights and sounds, and get in some last-minute shopping for souvenirs
• Overnight: Carlton Hotel, Tel Aviv

Day 12

• Day of leisure at your hotel. Option to visit any of several local synagogues for services
• Evening on your own to enjoy downtown Tel Aviv
• Overnight: Carlton Hotel, Tel Aviv

Day 13

The Negev
• Drive south to the Negev desert for the day
• Visit the home of Israel's first Prime Minister, David Ben Gurion at Kibbutz Sde Boker, where he and his wife Paula helped fulfill their vision of "making the desert bloom"
• See the wondrous desert oasis at the Ein Avdat Nature Reserve
• A jeep ride into the Ramon creator will give us a better understanding of the local unique geological formation
• Enjoy the Bedouin experience –including camel rides, Bedouin hospitality and dinner

Option 1

Return to Tel Aviv
• Overnight: Tel Aviv

Day 14: fly to US

Option 2 from Mitzpe Ramon you will be transferred to Eilat
Overnight: Dan Eilat

Day 14: Eilat/Petra
• Day trip to Petra on private tour – departing the hotel at approximately 7:00am and returning at 7:00pm. (including lounch)
• Overnight: Dan Eilat Hotel

Day 15: Eilat + Departure
• Morning of leisure in Eilat, checking out of your hotel in the early afternoon
• Transfer from the hotel to the Eilat Airport for your domestic flight to Tel Aviv Airport, where you will catch your connecting return flight home
• Depart to US
